I don’t understand why on ch23, it seems our MC develop a good feeling with the pope.
For example, the temple announced a new oracle >> The first guess would be that the pope, who has the highest power in the temple, might be behind this.
Plus, the pope is about to kidnap her and his subordinate pull her hair.
Am I missing something or understand incorreclty? Why the MC seems to be calm towards the pope?
Is it because of the pope’s power that she could not do much?
