I have so many problems with this manga, like how the author didn’t explain the shift in universe, when (glasses dude) traveled back in time does that mean he took his old place in his old body or did he exist as an alter (2 persons in one time) cause if it’s the first one, if he traveled back in time, his past self would still have existed and still have memory of what happened, so why didn’t he just approached rose as soon as he shifted back in time?
I get byul and the other dude’s case, cause he lost his memory but like couldn’t byul just google the other dude’s name??? and for god’s sake y’all are “destined” and madly in love but byul didn’t know what college the guy went to??? Or where he’s from?????
The time travel has a lot of loopholes so I just left it at that. For example, the conditions for Jiyul and Suho are different as well; Jiyul can't change what's going to happen to him and Byul but Suho can change what's going to happen to Jaehyun/Rose. It doesn't make sense to me.
About what you said, I think that's another loophole. Because it's explained that when the time traveller travels through time, their body is not omnipresent, they literally disappear at the timeline they left. Which doesn't make sense because if they did not exist in that timeline, then they did not exist at all. When JiYul time travelled for the first time, they made it seem like his consciousness was transferred into his old body because his friend found him in the place where he was supposed to be years ago when it happened. But then in the next they showed him LITERALLY disappearing back to the present.
And so I got this conclusion: When the time traveller travels to the past, their body and consciousness travels, creating another clone of themselves that exists in the same timeline. But they continue existing in the present, as they always HAVE. So when Jiyul went back to present, his body disappeared but his consciousness transferred into his present body who was also conscious, so the memories overlap (because he is not supposed to remember the past due to amnesia). And when he went back to the past again, his consciousness transferred back to the body.
As for remembering what they changed in the past as soon as they went back to the present, that's another loophole because that would mean that Suho of the past would still need to reach the point in time in the future where he got back in the present after finishing the 100 days, instead of Suho (the one in the past who didn't know yet the time travel) having to remember the events as soon as his future self managed to succeed. WHICH ALSO DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.
As for Byul not searching for JiYul, I'm sure the author just wanted the dramatics over the top since it's nearing the end.
(also as for JiYul, he wasn't able to prevent the incident but he DID change something by telling Byul what's going to happen to them, it made Byul not lose the memories he had of JiYul because remember when JiYul went back for a bit in the present Byul didn't even know him due to having an amnesia because THAT'S the thing he had to have influenced, not the incident)

You are absolutely right on this, I do think ur theory might be correct

omg thank you so much for taking the time to explain this lot <3 but uhm I didn't quite get the suho part :(( You mean to say the future Suho should have not easily remembered any of the time travel occurrence?

What we were talking about is that Suho (of the past) should have remembered the event of meeting and saving Rose as soon as the Suho (his self who went to the past) successfully went back to the future, it's like unloading the memories to his old self. What happened in the manhwa, however, is that it took like years for them to meet again even though they both remembered what happened and we don't even know if Suho (of the past) remembered saving Rose or did he have to reach the point in time in the future where he successfully saved him and went back.
