Despite loving stories from this genre, I cannot seem to like this enough to even read past 17 chapters. This is really boring and the supposedly brave father lacks self confidence even when he is literally a war hero. Mf can't even accept his own daughter lol what a great strong man. Just stupid af and idgasf if he's scared of tarnishing his dead lovers image.

Read the entire thing from the starting to finish in one sitting. There was neglect and emotional abuse in a sort of realistic way, like yeah some people can actually be that shitty.
Also really liked their relationship dynamics- they do talk and are honest and it's sth really sweet to see how a person who felt they were unlovable to be loved properly by their lover. To be proven wrong about being unlovable. I cried a lil bit but it was a really nice read overall.

The story is nice but I don't understand why all women keep fawning over him? Literally every other woman wants him like he's the last man alive.

I do find it quite frustrating that thats all they're reducing the female characters to. There is nothing wrong with them finding him attractive and liking him, but literally every single female character is only there to have a crush on him and one even mentions going home to do skincare and makeup because she doesn't want her crush to see her tired while theres a patient on the operating table. You are a nurse. You can look pretty and presentable all you want but are you actually kidding me? The MC has no defining character traits either. The only thing I can say is that he's male, has a mother and father, and can be a bit weird and skeptical? As anyone would be seeing a blue screen in front of them. Idk anything about his personality, the type of person he is, or understanding about him as an individual. So far, I'm on chp. 27 and he likes suturing I guess. Thats the only thing I know.

30 chapters in and things are just so - meh. There's no depth. She solves generational human trafficking by going to only one person? And the previous kings were not able to do that? Why? Were they that lazy?
Then it is shown that she's oh so kind and loves children and then proceeds to take that teen girl to make her a maid. Like?? You have all the money and stuff and the first thing you wanna do for someone who was abused and has forgotten their memories is to ask them to work as your maid? "You got super luck, here be my personal maid" even though she has no experience? Every thing this Chick does is so 2D. The ML too is like a bland piece of paper. Boiled bland chicken
Despite my initial dislike for the ML cuz he was cheating whore, I have come to like this couple and their story. Their love makes me cry and the way this is so achingly beautiful, it gives me anxiety as well.
The execution of the plot is so well done that i can't seem to find any flaws other than the cheating thing. The art is beautiful, and I love the way author pays so much attention on the clothes and I love reading all the small inside bts stuff. This is one of the stories which makes you want to buy the book and keep it because it is so good.
It's kinda like a slow burn, there is angst and there is yearning too. Kinda reminds me of that meme where op says the void you feel when you grow older because the world doesn't have the amazing adventure you read in your childhood. Except for adventure, it is the way they love and are enamoured with each other.
I also think that the along with mcs, that pos red bitchass also remembers the past. I just don't want any redemption for him and want Ines to kill him - as brutally as she can.
