reading this completely ruined my sleep schedule and i'm not even complaining. It was so good, I literally couldn’t put it down. I was hooked deep into the night, eyes burning, heart aching, fully consumed by the tension, the longing, and the unbearable need for them to just fall apart in each other’s arms. The insane sexual TENSION in every glance and every unspoken moment between Ian and Raymond. LIKE It’s a slow, burning kind of pull that makes you stop and reread the panels AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN just to relive the moment.
Their chemistry is like an electric in its quiet intensity, these quiet moments feel more intense than any loud declaration and you feel it even when nothing is said, and that 'stillness' makes it even more magnetic. EVEN the character development is masterful. ITS JUST THAT GOOD!
It pulls you in, chews you up emotionally, and leaves you staring at the ceiling at 3 a.m., wondering how a story could hit that hard. If that’s not peak storytelling, I don’t know what is.

You explained it so well, its just so goodd! I just finished rereading this for the 5th time, but I still ended up crying lol. The way their love towards each other was written and portrayed in each panel is just so perfect. The last chapters really did completed the story so well that it made a very satisfyingly unique ending. I first read this in 2020, but I just cant find any manhwa or book that gave me the exact feeling of all the tension when reading this. Pls tell me if u recommend any

I GOT YOU BB! <3 Honestly most works from the author "Brothers Without A Tomorrow" strikes emotional similarities as the characters that are made in their stories are not perfect; they're wounded, flawed and emotionally raw so this is really perfect for giving you this same FEELING of a painful but beautiful love that you felt when reading painter behind the curtain! Pieces i loved from them similar to this are:
•Blood link
•Tale of the Yellow Dragon
•Taming the tiger
I highly suggest you check it out but then again they're popular so if you've already known them i have these underrated recos very similar to this story!
• Murderer Llewellyn's enchanting dinner invitation

• To Take An Enemy's Heart (Yaoi)

BOTH ARE REALLY GOOD! (IMO!) when you said similar feeling, this both instantly clicked in my mind! If Painter Behind the Curtain pulled you in with its slow-burn tension and aching intimacy, THESE will feel just as consuming. They share the same historical weight, the same heavy silence between glances, and the same emotional push and pull between two people who shouldn’t fall in love but do. The love is slow, painful, and tender; wrapped in power imbalances, suffering, and quiet yearning. Has good charac. development too! buckle up when reading this cuz a tough journeys incoming. LMK babe if you love it or you hate it or whatever you feel about it!

Tysm for thiss!!! I think we have same tastes lol since ive also already read these!! I highly recommend King’s maker if you havent read it yet!! Also If u read novels, The captive prince trilogy by cs pacat is a must read!! I cant explain it in details but I got the same feeling with reading this. Its the best slow-burn enemies to lovers with well-depth characters that just makes u drawn to them. Same with pbtc, it got me sitting in silence and awe after finishing each volume then I cried so much when I actually finished it all!!

Captive prince mentioned >>>>>> seriously you need to read it guys the same is exactly the same as Raymond.
Also btw if U want a similar manhwa to this read Red-haired James, imo it's the most similar and also extremely good writing. This is like my 4th reading of this and now I'm off to go reread that
