The cover is beautiful and the promo chapter was interesting. So I too was excited when I suddenly saw the updates but...

Plot-wise (according to the promo chapter coz idk the novel), it’s not that great of a story but it is interesting and could be entertaining.

But the manhwa is just disappointing.
>The flow of the story is just wdf??? So fast paced they didn’t even bother with explanations that theres so many plot-holes I can’t even point it all out. And they don’t even seem to care.
>Where the character settings at? Why is a mere maid so cheeky and bold the second she became a child? She just became a child physically so where was her years of experience in the present and past life at? Why is a villain duke and an assassin- nvm theres too many to criticise about this.
>The character’s dialogues are so damn jumpy and unnatural. Wdh even- I often had to triple take to make sure I’m not just being stupid.
>The art is fine. They draw well but honestly still lacking. Specifically in choice of postures and expressions, there were several times it looked so unnatural and out of place.(before you diss me for criticising, I’m a fine art graduate, just not a manhwa artist so I do have an idea of what I’m saying) They tried so hard to make it look “cute” but it’s just so inappropriate.


Overall, the manhwa is just so cringe, my phalanges in both hands and feet are curling.

Yes yes, let's just use this sparkly ass Sailor Moon compact looking butt plug that a certain someone, who might be scrolling through some porn sites, would NEVER be able to recognize. So smart.

Some of the readers seem to think this is some kind love story between Rogi and Akitora... It is not. Akitora never ends up with Rogi -as it is shown in the sequel, which was published before this one-.
This whole story is for us to know about Rogi's past and how he becomes the man he is nowadays, with his daughter and that pet guy.
We're not going to see a cute love story. This world and characters are fucked up and, even if there is some romanticization, this plot is still toxic and disgusting -at some points-.
Sadly, these characters' lifes are not healthy at all so we can't expect them to be all nice and good. They're just trying to survive in a very grotesque environment; it is obvious that if your whole life is based on violence and survival, you're not going to be a sweet angel.
In a way, I like how dark this is because we're so used to read yakuza stories where it's all about hot guys with bad temper in high school who fight bad guys and yet never face the consequences of being a member of the fcking mafia, but then Jealousy shows us that this is some shitty world and it's not a 'look my hot bf is fighting for me heheh'.

That said, I just want them to be happy ╥﹏╥

Don't read if you hate a stupid uke who sleeps around, like literally who sleeps with anyone willing, and a stupid seme who's so insensitive. I actually regretted reading this cz of the stupid couple but well... the artstyle is cute tho.

I feel like most of us who had a problem with the uke were more disgusted with his loose morals and lack of integrity. This is not about slut-shaming. Come on now...even with the seme's father?
We all have read about ukes like this but not to that extent, unless it was a story with darker themes....which this wasn't. The characters literally treated it like normal.

This webtoon is amazing! It has an interesting plot, the characters are likeable, the art is incredible and action packed... don't hesitate to read it, it'll most definitely get your adrenaline pumping through your blood and keep you up all night hoho :))

I stared to watch the live action because I remembered parts of the plot of this Manga and I was so amazed by the actors and the story that I came to re read it and now I remember why I decided to erase this story of my brain!! I really hate the end of this manga!! It just makes me angry and I really want to slap Sensei a couple of times!!! But the live action it's still the best!!!
