Personally I think that she isn’t stupid but just ignorant, and I’m not saying this in a mean way, I mean like when you see the overall situation and you’ve seen how she’s lived, it can definitely be hard to be equipped to handle the situation, both mentally and physically.
I think there are some people who are expecting FL to somehow get a “reality check” and then boom, go into strong FL mode to get herself out with ease. And I get there are scenarios which do seem like they have better ways of going about how to do things, but then again that’s only how we’d like it to be, not that the FL thinks that way.
Another thing is that she is legitimately by herself, in enemy territory, binded by a contract. On top of that, she and her brother are practically the last line of royalties if they cannot save their country? like please, have mercy on this gal. Just because she now has Duke Conrad and some other fellow people of her fallen country does not mean she can stand up to the guy who practically put her in that situation.
