We're literally done with the story but I'm still loving every extra moment we get with these characters.
I'm seeing so many complaints but I've loved the story so I'm not sure why there's so much hate.
I'm also SUPER excited for MC's best friends story (they better give him a story) which is a first for me with side characters!
When Taesoo started crying, I started crying. I'm so happy for MC and ML... that they finally got together and ML is finally moving on. It's just, I understand Taesoo. I know he loved the ML but he's fear and trauma stopped him from accepting ML in the way ML wanted. Taesoo, I really wish you're able to heal. I know you've lost ML but I wish you find happiness too.
Thank you! I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to upload these chapters, as well as uploading the placeholder chapters. I don't mind placeholders at all... I prefer you to do this, than to have a bot upload unreadable translated chapters. Anyways, just wanted to say you're awesome and we appreciate you!
After reading chapter 88, I'm starting to see Ilay's feelings more. When he and his bro are talking and they realise MC is outside and probably heard their whole convo, Ilay looked terrified and was trembling. I think this was because the last time MC overheard one of his convos (with MC's uncle), MC went all "I hate you" and ran away from Ilay... and you can say what you want but clearly Ilay was mad not because he wanted to kill MC but because he, in his own sick way, cared for the MC and was mad that he didnt know where the MC was and couldnt be around the MC.
I think, since he was a little boy and answered that call with MC, he has always been curious about MC. Honestly, Ilay is crazy but the MC can handle him. Am I overlooking all the crap Ilay has put the MC through? No... but I'm here for a crazy and toxic ML... I also like how its a slow burn because that's realistic and I like the build up. Anyhoo, thats it from me.
It seems like the translation in the last few chapters have gone down hill :(
Some conversations aren't making sense (example: there's a part where Suho says "Me neither" but it comes out of no where... I have no idea who he's talking to or about what).
Also, the language being used... (example: "Kill him, stupid!"... mmm... I don't think the head of a government department would use 'stupid' in this sentence. It sounds like a 7 year old using a bad word when they're angry.
Anyways... I'm going to look for a better translation as I feel this is ruining the story experience. I'm enjoying it way too much to let something small like this irritate me. Toodles.
OMG! IKR!! It seems to me they're using rather horrid MTL translations not even realizing they need to add in the proper extra words to make the sentences correct as well as correcting the gender words since most foreign languages have feminine words and masculine words. = .= It was one of the things that drove me nuts in Spanish and French classes. It's all about the terms they use to describe a word will tell you a gender, but that isn't correct when translated into English terms. Most languages are already read backwards when they're translated, lol.
Why can't Taehyuk spend time with his brother. I understand his brother made bad choices in his past life but he's had to live with the consequences over multiple lives, waiting for the person he loved. He treated Taehyuk like his younger brother and just wanted the best for him in the end... so I'm frustrated that Taehyuk said they're strangers. Let's forgive and move on please... that boy has also gone through enough. Why can't we all be happy? :(
I believe it might be because Taehyuk has his past memories as well, and the present + past combined, so it might be hard for Tae to separate that, and it's a subtle call back to when past Tae also told past Hyun to leave him alone and that they're not family anymore, yet he still found him and brought him back against Tae's wishes !
