Aaaa I binge-read this and I just LOVE how vulnerable he is with her immediately admitting he’s scared, that he no longer wants revenge. And then her confessing back, saying that's exactly why she does want revenge.
Also, WHAT THE HELL is wrong with that creepy emperor??? Did he seriously insinuate he wants the FL the same twisted way he got ML's mother?? And society just casually brushing off what the emperor did, kidnapping and R***** ML's mother, then bullying her afterwards is so sickening. Honestly, I love that the FL deeply sympathizes with both mother and son (ML). how she made it her purpose to join his revenge and walk this path alongside him. UGH, it's SO GOOD.
