The manga was really cute and all. And I love how they developed and how they started to communicate and talk about their problems.
But somehow I dont really like it... their relationship seems so fragile. It seems really exhausting.
Maybe its also because I dont really like the characters. The seme is pretty interesting in the beginning. He's an ass, and seems to only care about the physikal aspect of the relationship. But he also seems lonely. And it seems that if someone would be interested enough he would open up to them. But now hes just too good... I dont know. The manga doesnt really show any of his faults.
The uke is in the beginning caught up in his fantasy world. And has a strong image of what romance should be like.. (I like that he didn't cry when he was angry at the seme but only later. That was the beginning of him realizing that such a romance was impossible and the start of his character development)
BUT what he did right after meeting the seme again wasnt fair. He tested him by saying he'll go to the gay district. And that wasn't okay. That was manipulative. It somehow made me angry. But I like that he himself realized that he wasn't the only victim. And that he also did some things wrong.
I mean it's not that I dislike this manga it's just that there are some things that could have been addressed more. For me it seems really superficial and insecure. Maybe if I knew more of their thoughts then it would be different. And I dont mean the deep conversations that they always have. But more lighter, simpler ones. So that we get to know the characters more and it's possible to empathize with them. They would seem a bit more human that way.
Maybe I get that feeling because all this deep conversations are just thrown in there without any chance to ripe. I mean they're just suddenly there. And that makes them seem fragile. Said without any real thought. Which leads to the story seeming a bit corny. (That's a bit harsh sorry)
And at first glance the problem in the last chapter seems mundane. But it makes sense. The seme is scared to revert back to his old ways and that the uke will leave him again. He directly links it with sexuality and that everything that he himself wants is bad. (Ahaa! Maybe that what I dont like about it. The seme seems to try to please the uke in everything. And so doesnt express himself. ) I would have liked if it had been a bit more elaborate
In the end they say they are like a bl couple with a happy ending. But in my opinion they have so much left to work on. So it doesnt really seem like a long kind of happy ending. More like a short happy period before they start to really work on their relationship and on themselves.

I was about to rant a little myself about this! I agree with you wholeheartedly. Although there were no visible flaws, I couldn’t help but shake the feeling that this relationship just wasn’t quite right. Everything feels so superficial and thrown in without a chance to blossom that it affects the nature of their relationship.
And, regarding the comment above, I can’t really agree that this type of relationship is shown a lot in BL. In other common BL, there’s some light-heartedness within the couple, but this story completely lacks it. We don’t actually get to see many moments where both characters are visibly enjoying themselves doing something other than being physical. We don’t see any jokes being exchanged, or any comforting gestures they can both offer. This relationship just feels completely false and was executed without any real deep emotion between the characters.
So two and a half stars out of five, right guys.

That's exactly what I meant. The whole time I was confused as to why it had to be them. It somehow feels as though they were only together because they were the first other "gay" (or whatever the seme feels like he is) they met.
I have the feeling they would be happier with someone else that truly makes them feel comfortable and so have a relationship that is stable enough to give them the chance to get to know themselves.

The story of chapter 5 is just... bad... I mean the uke doesnt even really realize that he was raped. What does he mean "was that cheating"? No of course not! You didnt want it! Its just so frustrating.
And not only that but the seme didnt do it impulsively he planed it. And then tried to act like it was also the ukes fault. That's just fucked up.
I mean there are many yaoi that have rape in them. And normally I can overlook it (of course it would be different in real life) but this story was not nice delivered. It just feels so plump. The uke doesnt really fight, well, he's confused and tries to run away. But he never really thinks about what happened. I dont know i mean i have never experienced sth like that. But shouldnt one be more scared of the person or angry? How can he just accept that? I mean he exploited their friendship, his trust. I dont know. I just find the idea of one of my best friends doing that, then trying to sweep it under the rug and then me just accepting them with only benevolent emotions as utterly disturbing.
Im sorry for the rant. But somehow this story just rubbed me the wrong way..

I think it was the mangaka's intention to make this twisted. I mean, she clearly wanted the uke to be manipulated because it's pretty clear the seme was controlling him emotionally. The uke is not very bright.

I don't know why it never occurred to them. Is it because of the country they live in? (its south korea right?) Because mental illness is still a taboo and no one is really educated on the matter of mental health?
It pains me to see them trying to help each other (or at least the seme is trying) and then accidentally hurting the other/themselves.
And the uke is in no position to help the seme. It seems to me that he only makes it worse. (Maybe he will later on but only with the help of a third party)
I felt this especially this chapter. While the therapist will not have an answer he will be able to help him find the right path. Its not something that you can expect from a loved one. You will only hurt them in the process
