The reason why age is such an important thing is because an adult person has matured more than a child. It’s not just a biological thing. Art may currently be 12, but he’s mentally a lot older.

I mean if you theoretically had a past life would you think about girls, I mean like if everyone "remembered" there past lives would that make them older? I read this article of a kid who tried to fly a plane and throwing a tantrum about how he wouldn't crash it like the last one. (Freaky stuff I know) but if theoretically reincarnation was real would the child be an adult? Or a child? I say he is still child.
Maybe it's because I believe in this reincarnation crap cause of my weird memories. Idk I should stop talking.－.－) countess
For that specific example, they are obviously a kid. Also, we’re not even sure if it was really a past life or not. They obviously acted like a child and had the mentality of a child. Let’s say he did have memories of his past life, however, it might just be tidbits or maybe there was an age regression in his mind(theres tags for that) which would make him have the mind of an adult. However, for Arthur who’s had his memories since he was a born, he hasn’t gone through any age regression at all. He knows himself as the adult king and he’s just in his new body that’s younger. However, he didn’t go through age regression and has the mind and mentality of an adult. If art had thrown tantrums and acted childish like the kid in your example, then yes, I would think he’s a child with more knowledge than an average kid. However, since he obviously shows signs that he sees himself as an adult, I would say he is one in mind, even if not in body.
If I was in a situation where I had my past memories, it would also depend on how I perceive it and whether it affects my current life’s mental state and maturity. Yes, the undeveloped brain will affect a person somewhat, as your brain doesn’t fully mature until you’re like 21 or so, but if the past life affects my maturity, then i would be more adult than child(well teenager since I’m still 16) I’m aroace tho, so I can’t say much about relationships lol XD
You guys need to understand that Art IS a 12 year old. Just because he has memories of his past life doesn't mean he's like 56 or something
