pink haired dude is apologizing for his own guilt....father neglected her and brought her here only to suddenly change....its change ig but i still dislike how they only changed after someone else took over penelope's body. in the first place, they didnt bother to try to understand the bodys original owner. the knight....hes just sus i dont like him that m uch either. big brother ignores her and treats her like trash and the few times we got to interact with him were pretty bs. so i just hate all of them lol.

Their nice cause they CHANGED Penelope may have been traumatized and that doesn't excuse his behavior but before reincarnation, she was not a good person and everyone didn't like her so it was natural to just let shit happen. But now she's changed and is speaking out in his eyes so he's changing accordingly

i just dont like how they didnt treat penelope properly in the first place. they hated her personality but the whole reason she turned out like that was because of them

tbh I don't think anything is wrong because the person who owned the body before wasn't good so they wouldn't just think she changed they need time to adapt to it

Usually the characters change after someone transmigrates because the Transmigrated Person start behaving differently. Defferent behaviour, attitude, way of speech or just their vibe. That creates dofferent emotions in those characters.

But the reason why Penelope wasn't a good person was because of them. Because they neglected her and harrassed her or made others think badly of her. So it's not like her family hated her because she started out as a bad person, they MADE her into a bad person on, and it first started when the brother lied and told everyone that she stole something.

No duh, it's their fault but if anything the father isn't fully at fault. He brought in Penelope as a child probably didn't even know how her personality is. It's the brothers at fault on this. She got framed and was painted in a bad light cause she didn't really speak out so of course, the dad thinks she's a trouble maker cause his sons showed her as such and who was he gonna believe: a child he just picked up, or his sons he's known their whole life and workers who he saw as loyal and trustworthy? So I'm forgiving the dad for the most part while not forgiving the brother cause they are her source of torment

I dont think so. He brought Penelope in because he needed a substitute daughter. If you bring in a child to act as your "dead" daughter you have to make sure your other children understand and are able to cope with that. Reynolds never got over the fact that Penelope was replacing his sister Yvette and that's the reason he acted so rudely, framing her for things she never did.

She got abused the second she got in that mansion. And before she was a beggar barely scraping by just witnessing the death of your mom and now there's a stranger taking you in. Of course she would be too scared as a 12 year old in that situation.
And the dad knew his people were mistreating her and ignored it. They are his employees. As a chef you always know how the atmosphere is.

I'm also pretty sure he knew Penelope didn't rob the necklace, I mean like Penelope said, how would a 12 year old beggar know the worth of such a necklace and she had her own stuff. I also think that there must've been at least one employee who knew where she was at that time.
He's an asshole and Penelopes aggressiveness made something change in him though I can't understand where that comes from, so I hope it gets explained later on.

Og peni is not a bad person. And current penilope and OG peni is same. Her soul is curse. No matter where she go she will be mistreated by her love ones. Remember how modern peni is mistreated by her family too. By still it's no excuse. To make you guys feel better she won't completely forgive any of her family members . Specially that big brother.
