Sangchu's Manga

The plot seriously rushed when he confessed to his friend lol. Then MC's character got weird and became totally different. Well, I feel this isn't really a manhwa to judge harshly because it's so casual. It is what it is.

This manhwa was super realistic in the way it displays relationships. Unconditional love doesn't exist, and instead, relationships based on give and take are portrayed. Honestly, I can't say I like this betrayal. Knowing that the MC's relationship can just end at any minute makes me feel empty. But it is refreshing (?) to see that not everyone gets a fairytale ending (especially the supporting characters). Hyunwoo was seriously such a tragic and interesting character. He was content with his familial and friendly relationship with MC and never tried to cross the line with him, but when MC began crossing that line himself, he got scared and ran. 2 years later, he comes back to salvage their relationship; however, MC was left with scars and was at his boiling point. They fought and MC found someone who is able to respect his feelings, leaving Hyunwoo in the dust. By the time Hyunwoo realizes what is going on, he realizes the feelings he had been pushing away -- the feelings that he kept hidden to have the peace that he was so comfortable with. He was too late and will end up regretting it for the rest of his life. Seriously so tragic TT. But honestly, I'm glad MC chose who he chose. Someone who is able to love and respect him. Gay relationships with straight men are unrealistic and there are no exceptions. Periodt.

Series drags on too much (which a lot of manhwas do) but it was still a fun read :^)
