I think its cuz all the o translations make it a little rough to understand..
But from what I gathered...I think Wooyoung’s father hired someone to come take him. If I remember correctly; Wooyoung lied to his dad and told him he was in America over the summer doing internships while in reality he was doing a internship with Liam’s family’s company at their Korean Branch (or something like that) anyways he was in Korea when he said he wasn’t. His dad finds out (this is kinda foreshadowed a few chapters back when liam and wooyoung are having a meal together and liam mentioned that people are starting to questions but it gets dismissed because wooyoung is to caught up with cha) and sends someone to get him which im assuming wooyoung doesnt go peacefully- i.e the mess.
Based on his convo with his secretary it looks like the secretary help narrowed down what happened/helped him find out where wooyoung is. Kyungjoo recognizes that they have to deal with the problem regarding their families and their relationship. In order to show his seriousness he decided to propose (which based on his monologue it looks like he was going to do that anyways) but it has to happen quicker.

To be honest this story is really close to what my friend explained DID is like (she has DID, has been diagnosed with it and I've met multiple of her alters) and I'm I'm happy that it gets representation even on here! Also holy crap that made me cry so much like what the heck
