wtf kind of people are pulling up on this story and calling it "misery porn", "trauma porn" or whatever like the hell are you even saying rn? are those actual terms? I stopped reading around where ruby and her brother were in the mirror room because I didn't like how the scene was in the manhwa compared to the novel but until then the story seemed completely fine to me? it didn't seem overdone at all like this woman has lived through I believe two lives of trauma and abuse. it's not even just ONE life bro. I think she's surprisingly stable if anything lol and who gives a shit if izek is constantly "saving" her or whatever like why is that such a damn bad thing? how can she save herself when she doesn't even understand the concept? her trauma and abuse is legitimately all she's ever known. her constantly asking him if he's mad at her broke my heart man like she still couldn't trust that he wouldn't abuse her too because again, it's all that she expects. she basically retreated so far into herself mentally and it was izek who truly helped her find the confidence to put her foot down and stand up to her greatest abuser like the POWER. don't go comparing this story to another one if you wanna read about a traumatized FL going around being a baddie she don't need no man go read another story because this story is not that and that's okay. I think this manhwa portrays abuse and trauma realistically at least in my opinion
