For me it's the opposite. Sometimes I read manhwas with wack ass storyline, but the artstyle makes up for it. Most of them are villainess stories like the 'villainess is a marionette', which started out well but got boring. At some point, I just stopped caring about the storyline and continued reading it for the screenshots.
