Is anyone else super confused? I read this 10 times and i'm still lost.

the cube didnt work right (for reasons untold) so since ginger was holding the box they got consumed by it. so now they're in the box that is now looking in side of gingers subconscious mind. the two mini gingers are the angel and demon side of ginger that act as one. the child like form (im guessing) is relating to the child like attachment and insecurities he has for rum. (im not sure why this is happening) but the cube is devouring them alive and they wont live for long. now for some reason demons cant get out of the cube but since ginger is half angel he can get out. but since he dosent want to live in a world without rum he at the end accepts his death with rum. just as he coped with that decision BAM the white angel comes to save them.
