The story is still ongoing in the original Chinese serialization, and honestly, there hasn't been a *set direction* as to where Zhen Hao and Uncle Shen's relationship is headed as of just yet. A lot of stuff happened from chapters 80-100, a lot of angst, lot of anger, jealousy and a LOT of repression of feelings on Uncle Shen's part. However, they seemingly reconciled for the time being and were ALMOST mutually going in for a kiss again (ruined by none other than boiling water on a stove) and it looks like both of them are kinda coming to terms with the fact that they love each other romantically but....they just don't wanna flat out admit it lmao. As for Fu, in the latest chapters, she recorded a video of our man Zhen Hao while passed out from anasthesia basically admitting he loved her Dad. Uncle Shen got a hold of Zhen Hao's phone later on, found the video, was shocked, and ended up switching bodies with Fu for a long time as to avoid Zhen Hao. To which Zhen Hao was really disappointed about, sulking about it to his wife, and yelling at her to let him "touch her" in public (but we know he meant it to let Shen come out lmao.) Fu talks with some people, does some critical thinking, and realizes that she and Zhen Hao might not be a "couple" after all. One thing leads to another, which leads to her beating the shit out of Zhen Hao in a VR game while coaxing him to admit his real feelings towards her, which brings us to the latest chapter as of this week, where Zhen Hao flat out says while talking about Fu, "We're not a couple, we're just friends."

So with Fu and Zhen Hao's predicament cleared up, and with Uncle Shen still in hiding, things can only get spicier from here lmao (▰˘◡˘▰)

y'all omg so the raws were updated today (chapter 116) and Fu just dropped the bomb of a question on Zhen Hao: "Are you in love with my dad?" (and of course, Zhen Hao is overcome with Gay Panic)
We're in for some fun times ahead, my friends, looks like the story is DEFINITELY gonna get spicier now (≧∀≦) (I just wish the English releases were faster agh )

It’s an official translation from an app, so I think they just picked it up pretty late and their updates are VERY slow, as only one new chapter is available every Sunday. It’s definitely gonna take a while to get to this point, but we’ve been patient for this long, so might as well keep that patience for months to come haha ^^;
