she's a beautiful and confident woman who's honest about her feelings and is easy to communicate with. she's also talented in things like horsemanship and all that.

i think her character could be inspired from marilyn monroe (sorry if i reached too far by this assumption in here), who was desired by men even after her death.

plus the translations feel a little off to me. ch 45 sapphire says he came for marianne and ch 46 he talks about how most of the people coming in jewel box are for marianne.
