Not because of the plot, but simply because everything is just so STIFF. The drawings just seem like studies. The characters are as stiff as if they're made of wood, and look like it. The dialogue (might be the Translation so take this with a grain of salt) is just as stiff as the drawings. Not saying they're bad, I like details and everyone looks good and interesting, but woody. I can't get into the story. Feels like watching stick figures interact.

MC has it. I tried looking it up but was redirected to Neotenic complex syndrome. Apparently the body stops aging at a certain point, but not all at once at the same time, which leads to the development of diseases and issues that can cause an early death. basically some parts aged on, others didn't, some were at a different age etc. It's a scary disease. I think the author took inspiration from it and turned it into something less scary for the story. Not a bad idea.
