Ppl calling it grooming are just saying the word without knowing what it means at this point istg. Y'all should actually learn about the words you use before throwing them out there and basically making them useless when they actually need to be used, also it's literally fiction so calm tf down lmao
While all experiences are different, as someone who was groomed growing up, this is for sure not it. His past self told him to seek out the guy, so he did. He also mentions multiple times not wanting to tie him down or how the guys feelings for him were wrong and literally rejects him multiple times. At no point was he purposely raising him in a certain way for the end goal to be them together or manipulating him when he was a kid...ie grooming.
Yes!!!! I get called out for it as if 1) I didn't know what grooming means (how?!? Why?!? One person I read their bio was a 21 y.om called me media illiterate?) I'm twice their age. What w fucking morón. 2) it's not applicable in THIS scenario. It was never indicated (in the alternate universe of the younger Duke) that he took him back to have a sexual or romantic relationship with him. Yes, it's gross that he had had intercourse with the then 20 y.o. Alois prior to coming to seek out the young Alois so that is uncomfortable. But otherwise he wasn't shown to be grooming the kid at all. They were just building assumptions into the story. The old Duke literally told the young Duke why Alois is special, and it's not in a sexual sense. And yet these ppl be jumping on the "grooming bandwagon" and then when I said it wasn't grooming, jumped on ME and telling me I'm media illiterate. Like the fuck you just insulted someone. And telling me something they made up in their heads. There's a possibility that it could be grooming in the last part of the story with the young Duke having had the sexual relationship with the grown Alois. However, that was never even IMPLIED. He got Alois because Alois gave him life. Alois is his light. It had nothing to do with his feelings for him in a sexual sense, not until Alois has already grown up, and he still held back. If we go by the original timeline after he's found Alois then he wouldn't be doing anything to Alois at all, in a sexual sense or romantic sense.
@clear. Yes. There is another comic. Which I haven't read yet. It was on my reading lists. Lmao but while I'm waiting to unlock it lost interest (yeah I try to support the authors when I can ).
Ppl were saying there's pedo and grooming (this is onbthe official site, and this platform offers a comments section too). So we have this heater debate that it's not. I'm not trying to diss young ppl. Cuz it seems typical that young ppl don't know understand as much as adults do. You can see that from the comment and the responses. I'm saying that ppl really don't know what pedo and grooming means and they threw that word into that comic. Throughout the discussion (more like an argument) I found out they were averse to age gaps. But age gaps aside they were confusing it or melding it with age gap between a young dragon (8 y.o. at the time of the beginning of the story) and dragon tamer/trainer who's already an adult at 18 or 20. I don't remember. So they disliked the agale gap. But ofc the romance part doesn't take place until way later. (The comic is called Regas, btw. And also a fantasy comic.) So if you're still young and get this (understand this) then don't mind my being over the top when I'm being insulted by someone younger. And I noticed over time too, that even if someone disagrees with me, with the older or more mature folks, they don't act all high and mighty and know it all and nowadays, all woke. Like seriously. Mature pop don't 1) cuss you out 2) put you down 3) call you names. I hate ppl who insult others for what they believe to be correct.
I absolutely love Regas!!! I've read the web novel and am currently reading the manwha as well. 100% not grooming in anyway I can't believe ppl say that, or insinuate he's a pedo.
While they age gap in this story is concerning, 24 and 41 u-u, they're both technically consenting adults and it is also just fiction.
The younger ppl are big on this wave of puritan culture and it's low-key crazy. Gotta bring the freak back into these spaces or they disappear (Like how the other person mentioned kink in pride) Woke culture is not what it was originally supposed to be and has become this horrendous push of puritan culture disguised as "representation" when these ppl don't even know the roots of the movement they're somehow behind. It's honestly why I ignore so many fandom spaces now bc no one is allowed to have a fucking thought that isn't the majority accepted one anymore,, even crack shipping gets hated on now u-u
Y'all I'm really pulling a blank here and I need help remembering the name of this bl manga. The uke works at a small restaurant and the seme had something akin to autism. He can't control his strength and struggles with manners and being too blunt and cold. They meet at the restaurant and the uke helps the seme out his socializing and controlling his strength. I thought of it out of nowhere and really want to read it again,,
I agree! It is "Sign"

So I found it after aggressively looking through my read list loll. It's http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/motomete_yamanai/
I really recommend it, it's really cute!
Does anyone know of any manga/manhwa on Lezhin or Tapas etc. with English translation that don't have a person/group updating them. I'd want to stick with bl, but I could do any genre really. I just want to help out since I have the money, and I know how grateful I was to the uploaders that spent their own money. I already have one I want to do, and could probably do 2-5 chapters for like 2 or 3 more stories.
This is so niché but I hate seeing inaccurate urethral play so much-
Like she should be wearing gloves and there's no way the sounding rod was touching his face before being inserted. It has to be completely sterile or bacteria will get right in there. Poor guy is gonna have a nasty UTI after this
UTI might not even exist in there world lol
Thats just fiction and its not that serious but i do understand ur concern ig
I knowww, I think hate was a little too strong of a word but I dislike it being wrong because what if someone tries to do it because of something they read without looking up the actuality of it. It's just like how I hate seeing badly portrayed bdsm, it keeps up misconceptions and abusive relationships hidden behind 'bdsm'.
I know some young ass people read this stuff and assume that's how it is without questioning it, hence why good representation is important. I'm just on my soap box rn though u-u
Now thats more like it. Dw i get u but ppl really shouldn't try stuff they see from fiction, thats like, so stupid
THISS!!! on another short manwha I was reading (was ass btw) there was TERRIBLE representation of everything it was honestly comical and someone genuinely thought that the things being done was actually humanly possible and it lowkey concerned me as a nursing student had to educate them on safe sex, female and male anatomy, and whatnot. Didn't want them to end up catching a case just because they took their "research" from unrealistic porn manwhas.
Omg u have a j*b?
Unfortunately gotta make that bread yk
I feel this!!! I'm a medical student and this stuff hurts me so much sometimes man. Ppl believing shit they see in manga is just like guys who think porn is how sex truly is-
Another one with a j*b?? Am i in enemy territory..
I'm sadly a slave to the American capitalistic machine while I go to school to hopefully escape this hell lmao
