:/ is this another queerbait.... can str8 people not make a friendship comic without making is ~queer-looking~ :// my god...
ill elaborate cuz people keep misunderstanding: İ do know about the censroship issues many non-str8 works face. İm talking about the feeling that the overall thing gives off. Even with censorship, you can tell that theres more to two people than just “friendship” (my references that i compare this work with is live actions of danmei novels and other manhuas like 19 days) and to me the way they react to each other’s “affections” (ex. Kissing etc) is discomfort (the way the black haired character’s expressions were drawn etc) and the thing is, yeah they care about each other a lot, which COULD be seen as romantically, BUT friends also care about eachother like that and some people just straight out show affection through touch. The reason why i dont think its a chn censroship issue is because im looking directly at their personalities. Pink is just a silly extroverted person, rides his own wind, and just doesnt think too deeply about the things he does, that’s why the things he does doesnt feel romantic, he’s just that kind of person. Black haired guy keeps things more lowkey but still does care, sure, but he always looks so uncomfortable with what is happening and pushes the other guy away so persistently that even if pink MİGHT have feelings for him, he doesn’t seem like he would reciprocate. The reason why i called it queerbait is ig cuz their relationship is so vague that, if you call them gay someone might tell you youre fetishizing the relationship and looking into it with a fantasy in mind (ik that this isnt the case btw but ive seen it happen with similar works so ill throw it out there) OR that theyre more than friends (which i DO SEE, THEY CAN BE ROMANTİC, but yk “can” and not “are”)
damn, who wrote that man into this plot, his redemption arc needs steroids to amplify its “oh i feel bad for him now that he isnt a jerk anymore :,(“ effect
bruh, why do they make a joke out of the position fight thing im not saying its problematic btw its just kinda annoying to see. İf someone doesnt want to recieve then dont force them lmao
i mean i guess the whole point was to show that being self centered and only focusing on your own pleasure (in general) gets you nobody lol, serves them right
