Starting from the first chapter that he was portrayed as someone apathetic even with the death of his parents and a few chapters, I already thought that he may have killed his parents for the reason of emotion. Maybe even more achieving the state of still by eliminating the cause of emotions.
But for now, it was stated that he prioritizes freedom and he values his possession, so? I still don't get it? Did they d*e by someone's intervention (a.k.a. the forest monster)? Or did he k*ll them? I feel like the latter is the most plausible.
Also, the plotline is messy, it feels rushed and I can't feel any emotions from it because of the shallow characterization. The pacing itself feels like watching a time lapse or passing memory. Additionally, im curious about something, by “secret”, does the MC mean his life or his sexuality?
It could've been good if the author executed it slowly and patiently. Plotholes are already visible because of the pace. Athough this can be explored later on. I really need clues or even red herring for what exactly is happening and what had happened.
