i actually quite love how it's the introvert who's the actual goddamn force in this relationship, vs the typical dynamic of an extrovert harassing an introvert by overstepping boundaries. in this case, introvert is doing that except the boundaries are so inherently miscellanious and strange that it's just funny rather than disrespectful.
honestly i love how everyone allied with MC are really fucking weird, all except for his ex-bully, who is unironically the sanest person on their ship rn. like if u rlly think about it, the "rival" character + all of MC's opponents are like so normal in comparison, even if they're meant to mimic the overzealous, bizarrely insensitive "shounen protag" archetype.
