First off -- Why is everyone soo attractive?!
Second off -- some unlikely theories...
1. Gin and Rum's loop through that carrier demon is a bad one that would ultimately break them apart. (also, coincidence that Gram only "saw Rum and Gin together" when the carrier demon was around, but they already WERE "together" so to speak when Gin met the carrier demon, and that literally could have been what Gram saw [drunken Rum snuggling up to Gin who's holding him]). Also freaky carrier demon seems to have heard a lot about Ginger...perhaps it's because Ginger is the only hybrid (that we know of)?
1.5 Surprise! Two dude-angels actually can get prego! Hybrid #2 here we come!
2. Mon and Mananan's loop ends up interceding on that negative loop and bringing Gin and Rum together in the madness of it all.
3. Alternatively, it's the opposite for the above. Gin and Rum's loop through the carrier demon is the positive one, but the loop created by Mananan and Gin is a catalyst that interferes with Gin x Rum (though I'm having a hard time being convinced as to why those two courting would come between Gin and Rum, so this is very unlikely). It's more probable that:
4. Mon and Mananan's loop has nothing to do with Gin and Rum's relationship at all, but actually has to do with the H&H Roman Company; additionally, perhaps the loop with the carrier demon helps bring Gin and Rum together to overcome whatever issue Mananan and Mon's loop is.
5. Mananan to Mon during sex: "You look like you're enjoying it...if you aren't, you will soon enough. You...will...? Since you're the one that missed your chance." Dafuq you talkin' bout' boy?
6. Can Ginger really switch between Demon and Angel mode (in reference to him being told to pick his demon side)? Does he have an alternate pair of wings? Is he really the only hybrid? I WANNA KNOW HOW BIG A DEAL YOU ARE TO BOTH HEAVEN AND HELL GIN!!
6.5 Did anyone else see that adorable bit where Rum grabbed Gin's wing with the little "Oohh" affect after Ginger saved him from the octopi/squid thing? Soo cute~

Hello, I read your reply on my comment and I wasn't bad surprised we had almost the same thoughts.
So, I have an idea about what Mananan meant when he said " Since you are the one that missed your chance ". Wasn't he before saying he don't stand a chance, won't have a chance and whatever because he thought that Mr. Mon had a partner, more like a lover. When his misunderstanding was cleared up, he had no reason to back off, cause Mon is single. Why he said that, is because Mr.Mon had missed his chance to be free from the engagement of being with Mananan and to have his children. Because Mon did miss his chance, he could've said, yes I have a special person and let it at it, but he is too dense and honest.
That's it.
The new chapter though, I still feel so bad about it.
Ahh that is probably it! It makes the most sense, especially considering his "I won't let you get away this time" (or something like that) statement right afterwards.
This new chapter! Oh goodness, I have soo many thoughts and feels. I have a feeling that their relationship is actually going to come to fruition sooner than later, and then they're going to have to face whatever plot drama gets flung their way, but they can do so as a unit. This is my most likely theory right now that I'm running with because I think there's something brewing in the background that's unrelated (or at least, not vital) to their relationship at this point and they're going to have to tackle it. I'm thinking it may either have something to do with H&H Roman Company, the 3rd mankind, the devil, or all of the above lol.
I just hope Rum doesn't shove Ginger away in this next chapter because he doesn't know how to handle these feelings he seems to only just be realizing he has (not that he didn't have them before, but that he never gave thought to what they meant before).
Some of ya'll are saying that because of a holiday the author is not updating the manhwa until next week, but that shouldn't affect our updates here right, since we're like 6 chapters behind the official Korean releases anyway?
In reference to THE END's (translator) notes (in link below), they didn't say anything about us holding off, but actually made it sound like they were debating getting us caught up so we're only 1-2 weeks behind instead of 6 (like we are right now).

Perhaps they're planning on updating them all at once, I mean H&H Roman company just had 14 chapters added at once, or perhaps this chapter is really long and taking a while to translate, this manwha has had loads of very long chapters.

It's possible, but H&H Roman Company has all those chapters (plus some) readily available in English on Lezhin, so whoever is uploading them doesn't actually have to do any cleaning and translating; they probably are just screen-capping from what's already available.
The thing with this manhwa is the English version is 6 weeks behind the Korean one (and was 1 week behind us until now), so it needs to be cleaned and translated before it's uploaded. I'm sure it doesn't take a short amount of time, but a lot of these pages that are uploaded are blank (solid black or white, or in no need of editing).
I would love if we got multiple updates a week, but we'll end up catching up to the Korean uploads pretty quickly. I dunno what the translator is gonna do; I'm just hoping we don't have to wait too terribly long for the next update!
Ah I see, I wasn't aware of where H&H's translations had come from, I hope the update is some time soon! Makes me wanna learn Korean

Did the English translator (no the author) mention that somewhere? Their last translator's note said they were thinking about having us catch up to 1-2 weeks behind the Korean version rather than staying at 6 weeks behind like we are now?
Ok so maybe I'll clarify what's going on :)
In the end we decided that we're not gonna release 'locked' chapters.
Haribo (artist) is nice enough to unlock chapter for free every week so that only a few new ones are still locked. If the siuation was different, like with almost every other artist who just waits for poeple to buy chapters and doesn't unlock anything we wold probably just update everythning. But since Haribo gives her fans free acces to WLATE we would like to show her our respect. I hope you understand <3
Because of the chinese new year artist didn't release chater 27 but she also didn't unlock chapter 21 on lezhin. That's why we didn't update.
Not because of cleaning cuz I cleaned everything till ch 26 last week.
Not because of translating because END is finishing her translation of ch 24
We have chapter 21, 22 and 23 ready for release. Just sitting there. We're just waiting for the artist to officialy onlock it.

It's incredibly respectful of you all to do it this way; as an artist myself that really makes me happy! I noticed that about END compared to the other comics on Lenzhin; Haribo is soo generous! I'm soo pumped for the next chapters; I've been buying them as they come out on Lezhin (which is basically the same day they come out here since I'm not getting the raws as I can't speak Korean), but I've seen some bits and pieces of the raws (and a full translation of Ch. 24 whoops) and I just...ahhh! I love this manhwa!
Personally, from my interpretation of this chapter anyway, I think the "reward" Law is referring to is that of absolute trust (which in turn reflects on their bond/relationship).
Jesse just willingly divulged to him a deadly family secret that literally no one other than the doctor knows about. I believe -part- of the reason Law gets soo anxious about Jesse is because he can't be sure Jesse wouldn't keep things from him (i.e. sleeping with the maid[s]). Metaphorically, if Jesse were a werewolf, he just handed Law the gun, cocked and loaded with a silver bullet, pointed at his head with the safety off.

I absolutely agree with your analysis about their relationship. Though Law's sudden cockiness was a bit jarring to me. I would've liked to see a slower pace (more chapters) of Law testing Jesse's boundaries. Just because one is trusted with another's weakness, doesn't mean they'd automatically want to use that knowledge to gain more leverage. Law's personality change was too sudden.
As an artist, I'm always looking for little nuances in illustrative story-telling that act as a window to broader understanding of a scene and/or emotions, and I'm wondering if I'm the only one that noticed Kang tearing up on page 6?

I'm assuming this is sarcasm as I'm looking at his glassy eyeball not his skin. Sweat is salty so his eyes wouldn't be open in a relaxed manner if they were getting soaked in sweat.
That is to say, tears are salty also obviously, but the saline level is different. Irregardless, he's not sweating in his eyeballs.

I have all the current available chapters for this one unlocked on Lenzhin already, and it really is a great and fun story. I love the different characters and the plot movement is making me anxious for the next chapter!
Not gonna lie though, I'm kinda bummed this one is already wedging it's way into mangago. This one, Blood Bank, and a few/any others are definitely worth supporting on Lenzhin, regardless of if you can read them here or not. You can earn free points on Lenzhin (which enable you to unlock coins which unlock chapters) if you log in daily to the Korean site (which you can do via selecting the Korean option in the drop-down box on the bottom-right side of the home-page [you can also do this using the iOS and Android app [[logging in on the android app gives you 10 coins for free]]).
Personally I think the art quality boost alone on Lenzhin is worth the payment.
OK so I was re-reading a couple of chapters way back near when this started (prolly 5-7 or somethin) and I totally forgot that Law sleeps with the black-haired maid and is totally unashamed of it. But like, we are soo far from that sort of thing with him in these flashbacks? He's soo dedicated to Jesse that it's almost bordering on insanity, and he was getting all worked up because everyone else was making him think that Jesse was sleeping with the ditsy maid, but then he...and he wanted Jesse to take her...and I'm just like????!!!!! What kind of agreement did ya'll make before going into moritat that ya'll were gonna fuck the maids instead of each other LOL omfg that sounds whack but for real yo?? THE CONFUSION IS REAL. And the flashback from before they went into Moritat where Law asks Jesse "Why" about something Jesse just says "The story ends here." <---WHAT STORY AND WAS THAT REALLY A FLASHBACK INTO MORITAT OR NO CUZ IT'S ALL IN COLOR AND I'M JUST SOO CONFUSED UGHHHHH
Okay, I have three questions that arose from my confusion over what *you* are saying, so here they are:
Um, it's pretty understandable why Law wanted Jesse with the maid and not himself...? Also, why do you think there HAS to be an actual STORY to what Jesse said? I mean, why do you think that this 'story' that he mentioned has an actual explanation...? It may simply be alluding to something, after all...? He is dedicated to Jesse bordering on insanity which is why this makes more sense, not less...?
Hmm from your interpretation, it would seem so. I guess it doesn't matter that he was sleeping with the maid since they weren't in reality anyway.
As for what Jesse was saying regarding the "story", it's the "alluding to something" that I want to know about, basically what is it alluding to exactly.
First off, great use of how everyone sees and interprets the objective world with a subjective view. Freaking brilliant.
Second, Law definitely loves Jesse, but in an emotionally tragic sort of way (needs to have control over the object of affection). This makes sense due to his upbringing; his mother controlled him for the longest time, and then he finally stood up for himself and said "No" when she wanted him to separate from Jesse. He took control, but now he wants to control Jesse. It's too bad he couldn't slough off that miserable aspect of his upbringing, but then I guess we wouldn't be where we are now if not for that.
Third, I like that Jesse's internal monologue seemed to suggest he was upset at himself for tricking Law with that pre-recorded video. That was actually really cute.
I've been starting to feel more sympathy towards him over the last few chapters. One of the reasons being I really feel he gave Law a lot more free reign as their relationship grew than I think even Law realized (realized as in applying that as something that was due to Jesse's feelings for him, not because he followed the book). He wasn't demanded to follow the rule book anymore. A few chapters back, Jesse called him at...midnight...I think it was. He knew Law was awake, and when Law finally showed up at 3AM, he didn't get angry at him for not calling him back or taking soo long to show up. Instead, he let him talk and heard him out.
I started reading this not knowing who's side I should be on (even though I wished I didn't have to take sides). Then the narrative steered me to Law's side, but now I'm being nudged to Jesse's side. This story is maddening, but it's a damn entertaining one!

Great comment, I totally agree. As for picking sides, I just cant do it! ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I love them both for different reasons. I just want them to both get over their issues and lead normal happy lives together. Mostly, I just feel really sorry for them both. ╥﹏╥
Jesse was definitely crazier as a kid but has mellowed out more now thanks to his relationship with Law (although not enough really), while Law's anxiety about his relationship with Jesse is making him totally loose it. I love that we can see Law's facial expressions getting more and more similar to his creepy self from the beginning in moritat.
