Okay guys, I have a question so I've been reading mangas, bl, webtoon, e.t.c for the past 5-6 years and I just realized that I really do not know the genres fr, especially in the world of mangas, and YAOI to be specific like I know my preference for reading is like beefy ukes, just ukes that look like they won't break from the shlong, but I just realized they are other genres I also read like bara, and so on but I don't really know the names and the meaning so if anyone can please help tell me like the genres and their meanings and even genres that I don't know about and should avoid because of how fucked they are so I can avoid them, like (rm or was it mrm) I don't know what they are but anytime I read something and I'm like wtf I go to the comments and it's saying (who released this from the clutches of mrm or rm) and I'm always confused so please help, I'm trying to continue my hobby in peace and not be disgusted by some nasty things that some authors write for who knows why ...

Mrm is short for myreadingmanga, its another BL Manga/Doujinshi site but you easily stumble upon hardcore stuff on there, mangago is tame compared to mrm so if you see comparisons to mrm in the comments be warned (which you have most likely realized)
Another thing I can think of is "Dead Dove: do not eat" - its mostly used for fanfiction and the stuff is going to be hard to swallow with real taboo (!!) tropes, its called like that cause of a movie scene where someone opens a box even tho it clearly warned that a dead dove was gonna be in there.
