she got yanked into a worse version of her old life in korean and this time with death as her ending, while in korea she had just finished getting herself out of her bad situation and was free to do what she liked. also, we all like to be in her place but she honestly has the most realistic reactions. essentially, shes been kidnapped and is doing everything she can to get free.
