Ancestor and second master is the same person according to my understanding. He was too empathetic and immersed himself too deeply in dance and caused him to fall in love with his partner (The master). He confessed but he lowkey got rejected. They're an item now (Probably)
The spoilers are kind of confusing....does this have a happy ending where they end up together? Because the spoilers end at a certain part which does not seem like the real ending/conclusion....

The novel was cute and had a lot of potential but still left many things unresolved...I'm not completetly done with the epiloges but according to the comments there isn't really any progress. As a couple they are cute and it's a happy ending but still...maybe my expactations were too high...

Maybe I'm the evolutionary human line THEN still didn't basically breed out the human ears characteristics lol that's my headcanon for stories like that. So they still have them but they're essentially useless/don't work.
