Is there a better translation somewhere i have no idea what's going on
Bear in mind, although the translations may not be perfect, the translator is still working hard to bring the newer chapters to us readers! The official English translations are on lezhin but they're not caught up to the chapters on here so you would have to wait a bit. If you want to support author of the webtoon, read on lezhin.
You asked is there a better translation anywhere, and yes, on lezhin (in due course). But the lezhin chapters will make their way here eventually and THAT was the point of my reply. I admit, my words may not have been very clear but I definitely didn't have any intention to make anyone feel worse about their financial situation. So, I'm sorry that my words made you feel that way.
I'm not rich either but if I'm passionate enough, I slug through several surveys just to gain coins to support some authors that deserve something for their efforts. Why else would I be on this site if I had the money to buy every thing I was reading?
Is it really bad to try and encourage supporting the author (even just a tiny little bit?). In the end, reading legally is still better than illegally, hence why many scanning/translating groups drop projects after licensing.
I remember someone saying that they got a virus from one of the surveys on lezhin. I've tried some of the quizzes myself and most of those are hosted on ad-infested sites. Lezhin also directs you to install and register on shady online trading apps and bitcoin wallet apps for which you need to add your card details. And if you don't register on those apps with your details, you won't get your precious free lezhin coin.
Also lezhin underpays their creators.
I know you want to do what's right and fair but capitalism is rarely fair. It makes you think that your goal is easily attainable if you work hard, but that's just a fallacy.
Stop going on shady websites and installing unregistered games that could easily steal all your details for a coin. Either pay real money for it on Lezhin or just read it here.
Yes this!!! Also most artists have a patreon set up anyway so the most effective way of supporting an author is through patreon!!! PLUS you get bonus content. I’d rather directly support the author with my wallet and get bonus content compared to doing surveys (that don’t even get me coins half the time because i’m “invalid”) on Lezhin (a company that takes most of the money earned anyways and hardly gives any to the authors).
I'm at chapter 30 rn and some of the things in this story are so biphobic,, like 'typical bi: actually likes women more' maybe it's just the translation but idk
Yeaaahhhh... I felt that way too. I'm Bi and so many people I was with shoved this stereotype onto me. Made me feel a little sad to see it in the comic but I just wrote it off as him seeing the worst case scenario. So his bias and anger was coming out in it. I know I've been there and felt bad about it later. So I forgave in the end. :D
yea I'm also bi that's why I find it really annoying cause I've had guys reject me just bcs they said I was 'confused' and would 'go back to women'
It's so frustrating cuz it's like "But I freaking like you a lot... T^T" "Sure and then in a week you'll go back to being straight again." ... (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ "YEAH! That's why one of my longest relationships was WITH A WOMAN! Cus I'm straight!" (/TДT)/ Jesus christ...
THANK YOU I’m so happy someone else caught this bc it made me so uncomfortable
I think to truly understand Muyeong's character you need to understand why he has a fear of bisexual people. His first crush would literally violently use his body and then parade around with his gf an hour later. His fear and dislike for bi people (although biphobic) makes total sense considering his past. It's a reason but not justifiable
