Week that a story decided to include a character that's close to the mc who will attempt to rape them and then, play it off as if it's a joke. What's the point of this trope honestly, especially when the author just brushes the whole thing off too.

Just by the way he assured his bf, I can tell that the mc is being truthful. I think his past relationship ended abruptly and there was no proper closure. I hope both of the mc and his ex gf will get it.

I mean it was a big issue for the ml because all his life he had been approached by people who had ulterior motives, and when he thought he had found someone who loved him for who he is, he saw tht (like it wouldn't hve been a big deal to me either but ml is ought to be a bit sensitive T T) I think all this could have been resolved by a deep thorough explanation by the mc's side but we all know how hard it's to show nd feel emotions for him because of which he could be sometimes insensitive, So tht must be wht led to the HUGE miscommunication for yrs
