Hes prideful, arrogant, impulsive, awkward, selfish and coming of age and into terms of being attracted to guys. We are now seeing a more thoughtful and interested Jiho a bit and I like what the author is doing and how they are introducing it all.

If you actually think about his behavior and age, it all coincides. He doesnt have to be a self realized person cause he is at the stage of learning as a teen. He is allowed to be impulsive and confused. If this was a working adult i would have agreed but his current reactions and the way he acts all makes sense. There is no 180 personality flip when we barely know the boy and we are literally getting to know him as he gets to know himself.
