The author couldve made this a story without Taku, they would just need to fill in some gaps through their writing (like how Haesoo realizes he cant let go of Joowon cant be through taku’s exhibition but there needs to be another explanation for it). It can still be very well written lol

It would also definitely be a shorter story since they dont need to explore Taku’s character and motives and all that.

Nah, you came out deliberately baiting and antagonistic. Obviously Taku has fans. So does Joowon, that’s a fact, so accept it. Lots of fans also love the outcome/endgame and are only buying merch etc for Joowon. This story is most assuredly not popular just for your fave.
