if you read "Kyoushitsu no Yugami" (that'd be the sequel of the prequel i can't seem to remember the name) it's quite easy to understand and not get surprised at the train chapter, since in that manga you can read the teacher's thinking bubble that says "so he's like me?" while the light haired guy was being molested.
