I understand, it’s not a relatable age at a certain point for some readers. I have zero interest reading stories about high school romance as I got older. But plenty of people that age and younger do be… doing the do. And having your first time/exploring your sexuality around your teens/early 20s is quite common. Also this is omegaverse, a universe where sex has a HUGE impact on their day to day lives. So it’s gonna be prominent in any omegaverse setting, I’m sure.
