DID is a very touchy subject that everyone wants to touch on, so they can seem “psychologically deep”. Some authors can’t fully grasp how DID works and because I know how it works, it made the dual personas all the more confusing. Like how Gabriel could see what Raphael was doing, but somehow when Raphael first showed up he had no idea what he was doing. When you can DID, one persona can’t see what the others see. That’s what makes them all different, the only way they would know is by communicating it with each other. It is normal for them to just wake up and not know what they were doing, but to be able to control and se what your other persona does isn’t realistic.
