The beginning of the story is fantastic. I would say up until chapter 47 is where it began to fall apart. It was already falling apart a bit when Isaac was passed off to the vamp family but they could have made that work.
There were so many good moving parts. I think the strongest was Giselle's fertility. She kept saying that it wasn't her issue but Carter's. They literally had it built up that right after sleeping with Isaac she would have gotten pregnant so there! it was Carter being impotent! But also it would be right after her taking the infertility medicine! So Carter would still blame her. I think it would only show who was in the right when Giselle would have a cute lil vampy baby and Roxy would still not be pregnant like she did she would. This would make the power dynamic between Giselle and Carter constantly flip. It also would stay on track with the story's period drama, telanovela vibe.
As a writer myself, I believe the story was planned beginning to end. And the ending we got was not the intended ending.
I honestly feel so bad for the author bc I have a feeling it's publishing company bs. Like the people releasing the comic thought it wasn't getting enough reads or attracting the right audience or something. Bc the last chapters truly feel like a rage quit of the author. Like -
"what you want more action? Here's your damn action. Story's over. Three chapters is all you're getting. I quit!" Kinda vibe.
This is such a tragedy. Not the story itself, but how it ended. You can literally feel the author's passion dying between sentences.
I really hope the original author (part of me feels like they just picked another random author to finish what another started. I have no proof but it really feels that way) can make what they want, how they want because they have some incredible talent.
This was a beautiful story. It just was never finished.

Damn, that flashback made me realize how gentrified the art style has gotten. I feel like it's been happening with a lot of interesting webtoons. They start with a really interesting and unique art style then they all start to blur together and look the same. I was thinking the same thing about "Half Of Me". Idk.. I know I'm probably reading too much into it but I just find it kinda sad. I understand one's art style can change over time and that's totally fine but not when they all start looking identical

This happened too with Secondo piatto. The art style changed at least four times. And by the time of the extras, it look exactly like every other manwha out there.
I think it’s because in Korea it’s very important to people to do conventionally beautiful art. That looks more pretty than attractive or unique and original. So, most artists strive to achieve a drawing style that makes their characters look pretty and blend themselves with the normal and conventional concept of beauty. Idk lol

I'm sorry but they never explained why the profile picture is different?? I'm really confused??
Also I'm really hoping everything stays consensual DX

They were two diffrent profiles he thought he was talking to the Ritsu he saw online but was actually talking to the Ritsu he meets up with. That's why Ritsu grabs his phone and shows him his profile with his picture on it. He wasn't catfished just didn't look at the profiles while messaging just the names.
SOMEONE PLEASE FIX THE CHAPTERS I CAN'T HANDLE THIS!!
