Izumi 'resembles' to the plant from Ishikura's apartment. The black hair symbolizes that both Izumi and Ishikura's plant have withered. But his hair went back to normal when they had sex lol maybe Ishikura is Izumi's 'fertilizer'??? That's what I understand tho

LOL. More like Izumi was the fertilizer since Yoshiaki is on the receiving end. It's quite confusing, indeed. But I think it's about Izumi "planting his seeds" into someone he loves, since he had only forgotten about Yoshioka(aka someone he loves) when he withered. If he didn't plant his seeds over a period of time, I guess he withers. It's still weird that Izumi had to wither when he's the one "planting". Plus 3 months is longer than 3 weeks. Izumi didn't wither after 3 months which he should have 'cause he withered in the short span of 3 weeks before. Welp it's all kinds of weird and mysteries, only the mangaka knows.
