To be honest, Alicia is just as bad as him if not worse. The thing about this story, nothing is ever what it seems at first. I’m sure at the beginning of the story no one thought Carcel would turn out to be the way he is. The amazing thing is we haven’t even begun to see just how amazing he is as a husband and lover. There is so much left to reveal about him in the present and past lives. It’s the same with Alicia. There’s a noteworthy revelation about her and who she truly is.
