Wait so why was awakening a “bad” thing for the proto hunter
the proto awakening being bad is part of the side stories but the side stories i'm not sure if they were in the novel as well ... or of the new writer that come along to help the storyboard for the side stories ...
maybe it was hinted in the novels but we can only be sure if someone translated the novels ... the last english fan translated of the novel dates back to 2023 and it's not finished ....
Stopped at ch. 56 and ngl it should've just ended with the Christmas party. It was good at first but now it just feels predictable. Obviously shin is gonna get stronger and stronger/untouchable, and jihu will just keep losing again. Same ol bland plot now. It will probably be 100+ chapters, maybe more. And the whole “shin is undefeatable” is just going to get milked.
Also they shouldve just kept the manhwa more real. How can shin learn the same technique as lee in 0.2 seconds, that makes it unreal and destroys the world-building. What made the story intriguing was the fact that they kept in the real parts of being a human, which is even if someone was weak, they were still able to work their way up to their strength and they werent always so OP. But shin gets hit and then tanks it like nothing. Unless shin was trained by some vigorous navy type training or fought for 10-15 years like lee, that would make it believable. But you’re telling me as soon as he turns 20 he went on a killing spree and even goes against trained detectives/cops and won? Thats unbelieveable.
Although we dont know how shin is able to get his “monster like” strength, I doubt the author is going to use a realistic excuse of how he got his strength.
Some parts of the story would have been better if there was a realistic approach to it.
The character developments/backgrounds were great, because of how humanistic/insane they were.
The plot was great until shin becomes an unkillable human/demigod for whatever reason.
The world building is great until all of a sudden some of the characters become unrealistic which causes the story to shift into a milked plot.
Probably wont come back to this manhwa for a while until they finally have shin, which we all know will take a few years (IRL).
Update: found out this was a reupload.
The ending was still sh**ty bc how was shin still alive even after he fell.
