It's sad how much harm we can inflict on ourselves by accepting the love we think we deserve. The way Mashiro constantly looked for familiarity in relationships that reflected the same way he was treated by his family broke me. I'm happy he was able to break the pattern and realize his self-worth. For anyone who's in the same boat as Mashiro, I hope you'll be able to find your peace one day.

The pace was perfect. I loved how the story didn't end after they started dating and showed how the dynamic of their relationship developed onwards. They also had healthy communication! Honestly, this was so sweet and a good read overall.
WTH this author is so damn good at story telling! The emotional build up and pacing was immaculate. I'm definitely adding this to my comfort re-reads :')
