My thoughts on Matthew & Jin
So basically as we all know Jin is always being dominated by authority figures. And he clearly doesn’t like being ordered around by these men. Or engaging in sexual activity with them.
Matthew is really just some guy though. He’s not dominating in any way nor intimidating. He’s just a guy who likes art who doesn’t want to dominate or control jin in any way. Which is why jin likes him.
Matthew is like a safe place he’s innocent to all the shit that happens in the yakuza and he could care less. Which is why jin felt safe having him top him? Because he’s not an intimidating guy and because he is who he is.
That’s why I also believe that jin will probably go to the ends of the earth to probably potentially save Matthew from any shit he gets himself into even if that means hurting Matthew.
And I could also see them being like deeply in love with each other since they already like each other so much now. All it’ll take is just a bit more and I know Matthew for sure will be head over heels. And for Jin it’ll probably take a while but he’ll finally admit to himself that he can’t live without Matthew.
And sorry this is so long I’m just rambling what I think.
