2nd last story fucked me up the most. In the end, the uke falls in love with the seme but is it love?????? or stockholm syndrome??????? becus the uke does show signs of stockholm syndrome e.g. sympathising with the seme's backstory than going to save him etc.i just cant wrap my head around how you can fall in love when being in the uke's position of getting sexual abused and confined. Ik that dis is all fiction and it doesn't have to make sense but still, i feel uncomfortable with the ending ( ̄へ ̄).....

There was a touch of Stockholm syndrome, but there were many other emotions weaved into it as well. I think he genuinely liked the seme's personality. There was pity for a person who had grown up with a clearly insufficient education and upbringing. I believe the strongest emotion when he went back to the seme after being released was guilt, though. He realized after speaking to the cops in the hospital that he was involved in the seme being kidnapped as a child and raised in that room for 25 years by his abductor. The uke also realized that the reason the seme kidnapped him was a kind of revenge for what had happened when they were younger. It feels like he wanted to make restitution for serving the seme up to the kidnapper when they were kids. After all that, he truly did fall in love over the course of the years they stayed together. It became his choice to live with him. He was only in captivity for about a month. I'm not saying that makes it okay for the seme to do the things he did, but it was a much more complicated situation than just Stockholm syndrome.
