Youi know I actually really hate the top in this. It started out so nicely and it kind of just spiraled. My biggest fucking pain is the top just straight up having a fit because the bottom doesn't share his tastes. Like it's pretty obvious the bottom enjoys pain, there's people out there who have this extreme kink, and in regulated environments it's not dangerous. But he just absolutely fucked it up and blames the bottom for it?
He got feelings first, he set the rules and broke it, didn't even bother explaining shit. Like with his job, the bottom wasn't even involved in the case, he could have just said this place is dangerous and can get you involved in some drug crimes and the bottom would have definitely just steered clear.
Sure, there were moments where I wanted to slap the bottom like with the stalker but I also understood he didn't want to make it into a bigger deal for fear of getting outed as way.

actually he is the only character I have ever read who doesn't take a single step back for his revenge even until last chapter. even when he was confused about his feelings and the lord, he always kept reminding himself of his revenge and made rational decisions
I mean it's crazy how much lack of understanding for the bottom there is. Since the beginning the bottom always made it clear he was looking for pain, fuck the top literally tried DROWNING him when they first met. I'm pretty sure that set the standards for their relationship like??
He gets feelings and that's when he tones it down, and obviously the bottom is like hmm what's this dude doing. And when the bottom realizes he's unsatisfied he tries to break it off but obviously the top doesn't want to. So he sends him to the hospital lol he's such a nice dude.
