Hsjwnne it’s quite good! The pacing is very slow and the subject matter is dark. The art style improves loads from the first few chapters. I’m assuming most of the comments are angry at the father, who’s abusive. However, updates are super infrequent (not the uploaders fault, the artist has some health issues which mean they can’t work at a rate fast enough to consistently get a chapter out a week) hope this helps :)

I would highly recommend you to not read it now. The chapters are very short and in the last six months the author has only released eight regular chapters. The site this is being released on doesn't work the same way as webcomic sites usually do. It's more like webtoons' canvas section except the authors can put a paywall on their stories. You could get regular updates, or you get updates whenever the author feels like it.
If you don't have a problem with that you can start reading it now but (it's not a masterpiece but it's good enough) but if you don't want to wait a month to get what is basically half a chapter, it'd probably be better to wait until it's finished.
