I must admit, originally I was rooting for Touma and Taichi to get together. As it progresses I started to realise there’s more to the story then just the romance we take at face value. Being a gay man I totally wanted their relationship to happen, but the story made me root for all of their happiness- even if it meant that they weren’t together. I saw that Taichi and Kuze were happy together and in love. And I was so happy to see that Touma was able to still be close with Taichi. I was satisfied with this. And then *kablang* “Me and futaba broke up” just WHATTT. I mean I can sort of understand that there was a lesson to be learnt in saying that it wasn’t going to work out and we should take it as it is. But what was all that build up for!?? Especially for Masumi to end up with a guy, could we not see what happened between her and Kuze? But I’m mainly annoyed with the fact that I was made to root for Kuze and Taichi despite shipping Touma and Taichi only for them to break up. o.O Buuut anyways, I’m sure the ending is to give some people a bit of satisfaction. Touma and Taichi are still together! :)
