I have a theory tho, I think when Kiera manifested her powers, Cosette took advantage and so it seemed like she was controlling it since Kiera was locked up in jail and everybody was focused on Cosette??? I THINK JAIEUN OR WHATEVER has the ability to heal of restoration kind of like a saintess that she received from her so called god that is why or how she has means to connecting to religion
Since they both are the child of the prophecy, they both have powers, so yeah... Tia can hear the word from God and Ji Eun has healing powers to a certain extent
But that sucks for the mc because God doesn't speak to her all the time and the other girl gets healing powers!

I wish there were other gods as well.
It's been a while since I read the novel, so I might not remember things well anymore. I don't think they delved very deeply into the theology in that world, I can't recall for sure if there were any other gods and there was just the main one that was followed in their country, or if it had been clearly stated that there was only the one god. Sorry I can't remember it well :/
