The word that best describes this manga is "sensual". It had the men of bara, but the romance of yaoi mixed together with a latin flare and wonderul! The only way it could be better was if you saw the main couple really be in love without any doubt in their relationship.

actually there is more to the story than this. There is an additional chapter which tells their future. Sublime manga sells it digitally and the story is so rich, and you are right, sensual and just lovely. Sigh.

That's the Jabberwocky, from Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (Lewis Carroll's sequel to his most famous novel Alice in Wonderland). It's a scary monster described in a poem there. Probably just a way Violet uses as a metaphor for Ciel's danger (as in danger for them, since he's asking dangerous questions).

First off I am so grateful to the translator and I know how hard learning another language is (even more so when it is as stupid as English is), but every time the translator wrote the past tense form of hurt as "hurted" it made me smile since it reminds me of a three year old's speech pattern.
