Imagine if the plot was slightly different? Like ryou went back to the past, became friends with his father and taught him many things so when konomi finally met his mom, they'll be able to love each other and in result, will not get divorced. Ryou will grow up with a whole family then many years later, konomi will realized the friend he made when he was 15 years old was his son. Omg that would be so sweet but the author want some forbidden love i guess
