I think this story would be a more interesting read if it will add more politics. Like please let us see how the country is doing with this kind of king reigning. We know famine and war is happening but how worst it is. Most importantly, I hope there will be no redemption for the king. Let me see the MC not forgiving his tormentor who literally killed his father, raped and imprisoned him, and will not hesitate to kill his daughter once he finds her. I wanna see an MC conspire with the king's political rivals and take him down through a coup. I feel like it will be a really good story going forward
