So how i understood this is, Yu was Michaela and Mika was the black eye Yu. But since Michaela switched their bodies back then, putting yu in Michaela and himself in one of those yu doppelgangers many years passed, like a lot, and them dying and resurrecting over and over caused them to blend into one another. So they are both mika. Yu is mika because thats who he was before switching bodies and mika is Michaela because he has been as Michaela for the past milions of years, he bacame him in a way. And the same goes for yu since hes been in that body geting killed and resurrected for so long.
You notice that when Michaela switched bodies with yu in the very beginning he forgot right away who he was and became kind of an idiot, so he's been yu in a way and same for mika. I dont know if you can catch my meaning.
You can see Yu's staring to be smarter and different since he remembered Michaela's memories he'd forgotten. Mabye he's becoming himself now, but still he cant just shed the yu hes been for millions of years till now, so there will always be mika and yuu in him. Same goes for mika, he used to be the one who cook's up plans and explain them to yu who didn't understand them, now Yu's cooking up plans and explaining them to him ahahah.
