Stockholm syndrome goes crazzzyyy
Like but he folded so fast, I didn't even have time to process, to cry, to forgive someone like there are stages to this. The fighting arc went by too quick. The medicine arc the taking care arc. The question feelings arc, the running away arc or the letting them go on purpose arc ITS GOING TOO DAMN FAST
This story is actually quite okay-ish, definitely not up there but it is not bad either. Another thing was the idea that the 'top was a red flag' but to be very honest, he is quite okay????
If you really look at it, he is trying his best with what little EQ he has and if anything, I would say he is pretty okay (in comparison to many other brutal and harsh tops). Like let's be fr, he is far from obsessive or even as cruel as the many other tops that are far more beloved in this genre. Honestly, his character while flawed is still likable in my eyes because he IS trying.
Realistically, no one will be perfect and relationships WILL have misunderstandings especially in the circumstance of the story. Like bro is consistently compared to his lover's ex, what was he supposed to think?? To be 100% confident in the r/s and to 100% trust this seemingly cold guy?? And for the top of course he would have troubles w/ his feelings bcs all throughout his last r/s, he has been cold and indifferent only now for something unfamiliar (love, care, compassion) to come about. How tf you think he gonna be?? You think he will go all "Omg I 100% love this person and I definitely know what to do to express something I have never expressed before!!" Like guys be ffr
At the end of the day, I won't say this story is the best neither is it 'shallow' or 'the worst'. It's just mid, 5/10 or maybe even a 6/10.
Okay so to begin, I completely and utterly do also hate Jkyng with a strong passion too but guys... Let bro have a way to actually have an arc
Like I've said previously, "I want hm to be a sopping, pathetic, man" but I also want to see his progression. I think it is already a good sign that Jkyng is not immediately justified neither did he immediately become a good/likable person.
As much as I am hesitant to, I am putting a bit of trust in the author that there would be an actual arc. Inevitably, of course, Kim Dan and Jkyng will eventually end up together whether we like it or not (Granted, Kim Dan deserves wayyy more than him)
